Herd Sire

LK Rodeo Tuff Chex

Prince was our first Longhorn bull — brought home from Missouri and the foundation of the herd. He carries the wild-type color gene, which gives us the brightly colored and color-changing calves Fun-EE Farm is becoming known for.

Prince came up from Missouri in the early days of the farm, one of our first Longhorn purchases, and he has more than earned his place. He is a stout, well-built bull with good horn — even after breaking a few inches off one side.

The wild-type gene he carries means his calves arrive in a remarkable range of colors and patterns, and some change shades as they grow. Half the fun is waiting to see what each one settles into. Crossed with Tuffy, Prince is one half of the farm’s breeding plan. He is not for sale.
