Chief arrived on September 29, 2026 out of Mac Spin, sired by Beyond Reach — the calf she was carrying when she came to us from Dickinson Cattle Company. He is white with red on his ears and face and red spots down his legs.
His sire, Beyond Reach, is a red and white speckled bull born in 2023, by Drop Box out of 50 Pearls, and one of the Drop Box sons in service at Dickinson Cattle Company. He brindled early and boldly, which often marks a bull that passes brindle on to his calves, and his pedigree carries Fifty Fifty and Dragon Pearl.
On his dam’s side, Mac Spin is out of Spin Off and one of the last crop of Macanudos — and Macanudo was a 3/4 brother to the $120,000 Saddle Jewel.
We are planning to retain him and see how he develops.
